Le roi Tu-Mata-Ira confus et troublé par la moet de son champion ordonna de préparé une grande fosse et d'y mettre le feu. Ensuite, le roi prit une pierre très dure et la déposa au centre du four. Il commanda à ses guerriers détaler les pierres du four avec la lance brisée. Le corps du guerrier tué fut déposé au centre du four. On plaça une partie de la lance brisée sous sa tête, une autre sous les chevilles.Le sdeux dernières furent disposées de part et d'autres de son corp.

Tu-Mata-Ira was in despair about the loss of his warrior.He ordered to make a large pit and made a fire here. when the fire heated the stones around it, with the pieces of broken spear the stones were spread in the pit and in teh centre of the pit was placed the body of the slain hero.

LEGENDE du marae Arahurahu.

Autrefois, sur ce grand marae qui avait pour nom Tu-Matamata-Hia, se déroula un terrible combat entre les héros des rois Tu- Mata-Ira et Tutu-Ai-Aro. La bataille fut rude et dura jusqu'au coché du soleil.

Lors de cet affrontement, Tu-Mata-Ira fut vaincu et sa lance sectionnée en quatre morceaux.

 

LEGEND of Arahurahu marae.

In earlier imesthis marae was called Tu-Matamata-Hia.But there is a legend how the name of maraewas changed.

Once here took place a deadly fight between the warriors representing two locals kings. Tu-Mata-Ira and Tutu-Ai-Aro. TRhe battle was lasted until the sunset, when the warrior of Tu-Mata-Ira was defeated, killed and his spear was broken onto four pieces.

Bonjour amis plongeurs,

Nous avons passé de bons moments avec Tanya qui est venu faire un photoreportage sur notre ile de Fakarava.Et bien entendu plonger avec nous. Avec nous elle a decouvert Toau et ces Mantas. Mais aussi notre petite ile des sables roses quand nous allons plonger dans la Passe Sud.

Hello divers friends,

 We spent good moments with Tanya who make a photoreport on our island of Fakarava. And naturally dive with us. With us she discovered Toau and its mantas ray. But also our small island of pink sands when we are go to dive into the South Pass.

Elle a surtout apprécié notre beau bateau le TIGER SHARK 1 et sa douche.Mais spécialement les 45 mn pour allez au sud. La veille elle avait mis 1h30 avec un autre bateau.

She really apprecieted our beautiful boat the TIGER SHARK 1 and it's shower. But especially 45 mn to go to the south. The day before she had put 1h30 with an other boat.

 

 

Elle adore les requins gris.

 

She loves grey sharks.

 

On trouve toujours des amis en voyage. Fiona et Randolph nous viennent de Suisse et font le tour du monde.

We always find friends in journey.Fiona and Randolph come to us from Swiss and do a world tour.

 

Ils ont l'air trés heureux au milieu des requnis gris de la Passe Sud TUMAKOHUA

They look's very happy in the middle of the grey sharks of the South Pass of TOMAKOHUA
