Paola kann sich wirklich glücklich schätzen! Sie hat einen Open Water Kurs gebucht und bei ihren Freiwassertauchgängen so viel erlebt, da träumen einige erfahrenere Taucher immer noch von: sie hat viele Adlerrochen und Schildkröten gesehen, Mantas und Delfine, 4 verschiedene Arten von Haien, Stachelrochen, grosse Tunas und noch viel viel mehr...!!!
Paola is very lucky! She took the Open Water Course and discovered so much during the dives, some more experienced divers are still dreaming to see: she saw many Eaglerays and Turtles, Mantas and Dolphins, 4 different kind of Sharks, Stingrays, large Tuna´s and much much more...!!!

Beim Training in der Lagune haben Alike und ihre Schüler eine Anemone im Sand gefunden die in einem Stück Plastik feststeckte. Vorsichtig ist das Plastik entfernt worden, die Anemone in einen Eimer verfrachtet und dann später am Riff ausgesetzt worden. Dort hat sie sich gleich an einem Korallenblock festgesaugt. Die vier Bewohner der Anemone, ein Baby-Anemonenfisch und 3 Garnelen sahen dann auch wieder glücklich aus!
During the training in the lagoon, Alike and her students found an Anemone in the sand stuck in a piece of plastic. We removed the plastic carefully, put the Anemone in a bucket and later set it free at the reef. There it attached on a coral block immediatly. The four inhabitants of the Anemone looked happy again: one Baby-Anemonefish and 3 Shrimps.

Heute durften wir unserem Taucher Rudolf gleich drei Mal gratulieren: einmal zum Geburtstag, dann zum Bestehen des Advanced und Nitrox Kurses. Es gab auch tolle Geschenke: viele Graue Riffhaie, Adlerrochen, Weissspitzenhai, Schildkroete und sogar einen Manta!!! Rudolfs Frau Silke gratulieren wir natuerlich auch zu den beiden bestandenen Kursen! Alles Gute!
Today we had the pleasure to say 3 times "congratulations" to our diver Rudolf: once for his birthday, then for completing the Advanced and Nitrox courses. He got some great presents too: many Grey Reef Sharks, Eagle Rays, Whitetip, Turtle and even a Manta Ray!!! Of course, we say congratulations to Rudolf´s wife Silke too, for completing the courses as well! All the best!

Alike & Gab

Heute waren wir bei "Sharks & More" und hatten einen SUPER Tauchgang!!! Erst dachten wir, dass wir den Weg bis dahin gar nicht schaffen. Die Wellen waren so hoch. Die Sicht war auch nicht so gut. Doch als wir die Haie endlich gefunden haben, war die Show um so toller: wir wurden von mehr als 40 Grauen Riffhaien in allen Groessen umkreist!!! Dazu 2 grosse Adlerrochen die ca. 15min einfach nur neben uns in der Stroemung standen, , dazwischen Schwaerme von Stachelmarkrelen und Tunas...
Today we´ve been to "Sharks & More" and had a GREAT dive!!! : first we thought that we can´t make it, the waves were so big. The visibility was not good either. But when we finally found the sharks the show was fantastic: more than 40 Grey Reef Sharks in all sizes circled around us!!! 2 large Eaglerays where hovering next to us in the current for about 15min in between schools of Giant Trevallies and Tunas...

Alike und Gab sind aus dem Urlaub zurueck , Chris geht wieder nach Filitheyo. Uttam ist als Rajus Urlaubsvertretung hier. Gute Gruende fuer eine tolle Party!!
Alike and Gab are back from holidays , Chris is going to Filitheyo. Uttam is here to replace Raju for his holidays. Good reasons for a great Party!!

Natürlich geht die Weltmeisterschaft im Fußball nicht an den Malediven vorbei.
Die erste Hälfte des Deutschlands - Australien Spiels hab ich in der Bar angeschaut. Leider war ich dort ganz alleine
...
Even here on the Maldives we are watching the football world cup. The first half I was watching all alone in the Bar…

Für die zweite Hälfte bin ich dann zum Hotel Staff. Die Stimmung war gleich um einiges besser.
For the second half I went to the staff area. The atmosphere was much better instantly.

Der Wind hat nun fix auf West gedreht. Das Wetter wir auch langsam wieder etwas besser - die Sonne scheint. Auch die Mantas lassen sich nun mehr und mehr auf der Ostseite des Atolls blicken. Wie hier bei "The Dome".
The wind finally changed to west. The sun is shining again! Also the Manta rays coming now over to the eastern side of the atoll. Like today at "The Dome"!

Die Delfine wollten sich aber auch nicht ganz die Show von den Mantas stehlen lassen.
The dolphins came along the dhoni to let us know that they also around.

Raju, unser Kompressorboy, hat uns heut in Richtung Bangladesch verlassen, um seinen Urlaub zu genießen. Viel Spaß und grüß die Familie.
