The weel organized Dinving Centre offers dinving course at Pedi or CMAS standards. After the first step in the pool, it starts dircelty with House reef diving.

Dive spots like elphinston, Dolphin House and Abu Dabbab are close to the dive centre and are reachable within short boat trips. The "Oasis" house reef promises beautiful dives, also dives with Nitrox is possible. The leisure time is possible with relaxing at the nice pool, sport or excursion. Several exursions are available: Sunset in the desert, Astro-Tour, combination of the Sunset Tour and the Astro Tour, Shelatin – the door to Africa, The Emerald Cities - National Park Wadi el Gemal, The Gold Tour, A Night in the Desert.

WERNER LAU DIVE CENTRES AT THE MORGANA BEACH RESORT
Situated on the beach at the Morgana Beach Resort in Taba, the Werner Lau Dive Centre is managed by Steffen Seikat . It is located 27 km north of Nuweiba and just 2 km south of the well known Taba Heights Resort. This 5 star hotel has 300 spacious rooms and offers all the amenities expected in a luxury hotel. Werner Lau's team of multilingual instructors and divemasters offers all levels of instruction in SSI, Barakuda/CMAS and PADI standards.
Equipment The newly renovated dive centre is fully equipped for the requirements of today's divers. For those needing to hire equipment we are fully stocked with everything you might want: 30 BC's / Jackets (Scubapro) 30 Regulators with octopus, pressure gauge and inflator (Scubapro) 50 ABC Sets comprising of mask, fins and snorkel 50 wetsuits from Seeman (thickness 5 mm) 10 dive computers from Oceanic (Air/Nitrox)
We provide 12L aluminium tanks either with DIN or INT valves filled by our Coltrisub compressor. 15L aluminium tanks can be supplied on request for a small additional charge. 12L Nitrox tanks are available free of charge to all Nitrox certified divers (15L Nitrox tanks will incur an additional charge). Workshop A well stocked workshop is on site for any technical emergencies and our staff is on hand to help with any problems. Your own equipment Privately owned equipment can be left in boxes at the diving centre and will be loaded onto the boats or jeeps by members of our staff.
The House Reef Directly in front of the hotel, only a few metres from the diving centre is a beautiful house reef. It is unspoilt and in pristine condition. It is the ideal place for beach diving and for the open water dives of courses. For more experienced divers it is a paradise and ideal for underwater photography. Here you can enjoy the underwater world at your leisure. As you would expect, we have some very good deals to offer: 5 days Divebox Taba (prebooking) First dive on the House Reef accompanied by a diving-instructor or Divemaster followed by unlimited unaccompanied dives. (Night dives are not allowed in Taba by law).
Boat Trips Boat trips and shore diving along the coast be booked at the Dive Centre (see local diving prices) and our team is looking forward to showing you all the sights Taba has to offer. We offer daily trips - either by boat or jeep - to about 15 different pristine dive sites, all within 30 minutes of the hotel. The boats visit the diving sites in near of Farauun Island and the Fjord, while the jeeps bring you to the diving spots to the north and south. We offer trips to about 15 different, almost untouched diving spots between five and thirty minutes away from the hotel. If you opt to dive from the boat you'll visit sites near Farauun Island and the Fjord, while the jeeps take you to dives sites both to the north and south of the hotel for some spectacular shore diving. Half-day trips (morning or afternoon) and full day trips are offered by boat. On the morning boat trips you have the chance to do one or two dives; on the afternoon trips you can do one dive. If you opt for a full day on the boat you have the chance to do three dives. A buffet lunch is provided for an additional charge of 40LE. If you decide to shore dive, you will be transported to the dive-sites by jeep. The morning trips allow you the chance to do 2 dives while if you opt for the afternoon trip, you will have the chance to do just one dive. The diving trips begin at 08.30 in the morning and, if you're just going to do half and hour you'll return to the hotel at about 11.30 in time to enjoy a relaxing lunch. The afternoon trips start at about 2.30 pm. The diving centre is open daily from 08.00 until at least 18.00. Your safety: Oxygen, first-aid equipment and a marine radio are available on board the diving boats. A doctor (diving specialist), who is also responsible for the decompression chamber, is 15 minutes away in Eilat (Israel).
Diving Courses : Intro-dives: To get you started, we offer free introductory dives in the hotel pool throughout the week. But, if you'd like to see what diving is really about, we offer introductory dives of 15 to 20 minutes from the shore or from the boat. In a maximum depth of 5 metres, you will experience the beauty of the underwater world. This service is offered on an individual basis with a diving instructor. Open Water: After you've got the taste for diving we can take you through every level of instruction. The Open Water course is a four day course with a maximum of six people in a group. At the end of the course you will be able to enjoy recreational diving with confidence and skill. The course is divided into theory classes and practical exercises ending with five open water dives - two of which will be from the boat on your last day. After completing the course successfully, you will receive your Open Water certification. Further Education: If you want to take your education further we also offer advanced courses up to SSI Divecon, Barakuda/CMAS*** (gold) and/ or PADI Dive Master as well as specialty courses including Nitrox.
