Diving and diving holidays at Cyprus, Mediterranean Sea

At Cyprus, you can enjoy one of the longest diving seasons worldwide. The water along the coastline is warm and clear, tides are regular and visibility is up to 30-40 metres.
Diving conditions are very good.

There are hardly any currents offshore Cyprus. Water temperatures are between 18 and 26 °C from May to July, between 26 and 28 °C in August and September and from October to December they are dropping from 24 to 17 °C.
A mystical and fascinating underwater world awaits you.
For visitors who never had a chance to dive before, Cyprus is the perfect place to discover the unique underwater world. Experienced divers get the opportunity to explore archaeological remains and stony gardens covered in sponges on the bottom of the sea as well as to dive on the fascinating wreck of Zenobia.
The wreck of Zenobia is a freighter which sank in 1982 carrying more than 100 trucks and simply represents a diver’s dream. Apart from further, partly antique shipwrecks, it is mainly the remains of ancient sites and objects which draw divers into Cyprus’ waters. Amphorae covered in algae offer a fascinating sight. On top of that, the arrival of dozens of turtles on a slightly remote beach laying their eggs is always a very special experience.

But Cyprus has a lot more to offer:
Being culturally unique, it is also an Eldorado for bikers and hikers. Aldiana in Alaminos where we are affiliated, offers a wide range of wellness and sport opportunities.
