The impressive SSI/CMAS/Padi- Diving School will be managed by Oli. He has been previously worked on Filitheyo. Oli and his crew of international diving instructors are known for their very friendly service.

This new and spaciously built diving centre has been designed by professionals to meet the special needs of Scuba-divers. The school will be generously equipped to the highest and most modern standards. You will be able to hire what you need from the following:

60 Jackets (Seemann)
40 Regulators with octopus, finimeter and inflator (Scubapro)
60 Sets of masks, fins and snorkels (Seemann)
30 Wet suits (Shorties 3mm / Scubapro)
40 Diving computers (Aladin Pro)
10 torches (Kowalski)
2 Underwater cameras (Sea Life/Reef Master)

As an extra special experience we offer trips with underwater scooters, diving in a new dimension with:

3 underwater scooters (Scubapro Seaglider)
3 underwater scooters (Multitec Scout)

The workshop is well fitted out to take care of the usual repairs and our guests are welcome to use it, just ask our instructors for help if you need it.

80 Alu-tanks with 12l capacity can be refilled up to 215bar by two Bauer electro-compressors.

Oxygen and a first aid kit are available on each boat and our crew is specially trained to offer medical assistance in any emergency which may occur.
If necessary, we can reach the decompression unit on Bandos by seaplane within 45 minutes.

Your personal diving gear can be stowed directly at the diving centre.
There is a wet room for this purpose which is locked up at night.

We offer Barakuda (CMAS), SSI and PADI diving courses continually throughout the year. The diving courses take place in small groups (1 diving instructor - 2 students) which reduces stress and enables us to meet your individual training needs.

The course begins with an introductory dive in the shallow waters of the lagoon (approx 1,5 metres). During the ca. 1 hour trial dive the students have plenty of time to get used to the wet element and 'underwater breathing', always under the watchful eye of our expert. The actual training course is split up over three days. The students are in the water mornings and afternoons. They will be introduced to the basics of diving in groups of two by professional diving instructors.

The last of the six training sessions will include starting out from a boat. The theory (ca.6 hours) will be taught over the three days between 17.30 and 19.30. After successfully completing the final examination the student will be presented with an internationally recognised certificate (CMAS*). Alternatively you may choose the PADI training programme (PADI open water diver).

The diving school offers advanced courses up to CMAS gold and PADI Divemaster for more experienced divers.

We can train you up to certification level in most specialised diving courses.

It couldn't be easier to learn to dive!
Right in front of the diving school soft white sand slopes down to 6 m. The marine life around some large coral formations invite to be explored by you during your diving course.

We have 2-3 diving boats (Dhonies) which depart daily at 9.00 and 14.30. The various diving sites can be reached within 5 - 60 minutes.

There is something for everyone. Many of our diving sites are situated within the atoll and they offer stress free Easy-diving, however our diving ''Profis'' will definitely not be disappointed either.

Night diving by boat will be offered once or twice a week, an experience which you should not miss.

2 - 3 times a week day tours will be available which take you to the spectacular channel sites to the west of the atoll.

The Dhonies visit 2 or 3 different diving areas so you can choose the reef which is most suitable for your personal interest and diving skills.

We offer around 30 different diving sites and it is our good fortune that they are frequented only by divers from Medhufushi and sometimes from Hakura club. We cannot emphasise enough what an advantage this is!

We are only twenty minutes by boat from the two superlative diving spots Mulah-Kandu and Mulee-Kandu.
