After long hours of flying and waiting the new guests Joachim, Jan, Tania & Andreas arrived late in the afternoon. After checking the equipment everybody decided to spend the rest of the day to settle in and relax on board.
Meanwhile the Sheena traveled to the anchor spot in the north of the Meemu Atoll.

Boomerang
White tip station
Divers paradise
While we jumped into an easy check dive with two turtles, we found out that the computers of Joachim & Andrea don’t want to dive this week! Luckily we have a few on board the Sheena :-)
On our channel cross at White tip station we had a few white tips, greys and a school of eight eagle rays.
Tuesday
12.01.2010
Vattaru
Rakeedho kandu
Alimathaa dhekunu kandu
The highlight today was surly the hammer head shark which came quite close. Of course we did not mind grey and white tip reef sharks on this current dive. What a luck day…
Wednesday
13.01.2010
Alimathaa uthuru kandu
Alimathaa dhekunu kandu
Golden wall
Tania & Andreas went over to a sand bank near our anchor spot to enjoy the Maldivian sun. It’s a nice change to the rocking boat.
The kandus around Alimathaa are always good for some big stuff and this is why we like to hang out here a bit
Thursday
14.01.2010
Fotteyo
Fushi kandu
Vattaru kandu
25 sharks (!), a school of 15 eagle rays have been just amazing at Fushi kandu. Now we are all smiling for sure.
Today’s special was a very nice curry cooked by Jan and it was delicious. Thanks to Jan :-)
Friday
15.01.2010
Shark point
Lucky reef
Happy corner
Today was a eclipse of the sun… Surly we had to watch it before we jumped at Happy corner. The strong incoming current brought us all the big grey reef sharks what we were hoping for.
Saturday
16.01.2010
White tip station
Mantas & more
Only Andreas & Tania went for the last dive at Mantas & more. There we had the strongest current dive of the tour with a school of eagle rays, mobula, manta and sharks.
We celebrated the end of the trip with a few cocktails at Medhufushi in the evening. These drinks  definitely had some effects on them :-)
