Sunday

Medhufushi tila
On the first day only three guests went diving, because all the other guests arrived to Medhufushi with the last flight, so they’ll have to wait the next day to get wet! When the last flight arrived we started to get worried cause we still have two guests missing! And nobody knows where they are :-( …We were thinking that if they are coming tomorrow morning they will be still able to join the tour.
Monday

Boahura express
Divers paradise
Shark point
After the first dive, when we came back to the boat we checked if the two missing guests had arrived but we still didn’t get any news, so, we had no choice we have to start our tour without them! We had the news later on that one of them got injured and they had to stay in Colombo. Bad luck, but we hope to see them on another tour.
Tuesday

Vattaru kandu
Alimatha uthuru kandu
Fotheyo kandu
We cruised north to Vattaru to hope to see mantas there, but we had no luck. And because everybody really wants to see them, we will have to change a little bit our plan. In the evening we had BBQ on Fotheyo sand bank, after dinner, the boat crew start playing Maldivian traditional music (bodu beru), everybody was dancing and we had a lot of fun on their most famous song called “Happy Happy yayaya”. This song followed us on the boat the all week :-))) ....
Wednesday
23.02.2011
Fotheyo kandu
Fushi kandu
Grouper
When we arrived the night before to Fotheyo, we were a bit worried, because there were four other safari boats. So we thought that we won’t have any chance to see hammerhead sharks if there is too many divers. But we had luck we saw hammerhead shark, but only one! We had the chance also during our night dive to find some ghost pipe fish which are not really common, like hammerhead! In the evening we had to sleep without air condition due to a small technical problem:-(((....
Thursday
24.02.2011
Rakeedhoo kandu
Happy corner
Northen tube
The first dive this morning was not as exciting as the dives we did these last days. But”Happy Corner” was a highlight with lots of the sharks and eagle rays. At the end of the day we visited the island of Dhigaru in the north of Meemu atoll. The boat crews invited us to their home island and they organised a Maldivian traditional music show for us, we had lots of fun singing and dancing:-))...
Friday
28.05.2011
White tip station
Rayvilla wreck
Valley of the ray
In the morning when we arrived to the dive site it was not the current that we were expecting but visibility was incredibly clear it was the best we had so farJ... After breakfast we started our way south of Meemu atoll. On the last dive we spend 27 minutes on the cleaning station waiting for the mantas! Once they arrived the mantas didn’t leave and we spend another 30 minutes enjoying the “manta show”. Everybody came out from the water with a big smile :-)) ...
Saturday
26.02.2011
Valley of the rays
chapati
We went one more time to the “Valley of the Rays” to enjoy more mantas, this time we had them from the beginning till the end of the dive. Only Jang from Korea did a second dive that day, while the others were removing the salt from their equipment before packing. We would like to sincerely thank Bernard from France for the beautiful pictures!
