28 : Kudafalhu (Manta Point)

Time to destination : 75 minutes

A faru to the north of a 300 m wide channel on the west side of the atoll. It involves a day trip to reach this site.

The reef head reaches far into the channel and the gentle reef slope at 5-25 metres, has plenty of coral outcrops which serve as cleaning stations.

There are huge shoals of fish, turtles and napoleons all over the reef head
During the season, December to May you will usually sight mantas on the outer channel side, whalesharks have been sighted here.

Mit dem Safariboot Sheena steuert er Diving Spots um Filitheyo, Medhufushi, Vilamendhoo und Eriyadu an.

Es können Tauchpakete vorgebucht werden. Die Dive Centres sprechen Deutsch, Englisch, Französich. Zu den Gästen gehören auch Engländer,Österreicher und Schweizer.
