The end of another month has come very quickly. November has been a strange month with the water temperature still up around 28’c, which is very high for this time of year. Europe is covered in snow and we are still in shorts and T-shirts :>>

This month we had Malanie Stommel complete her Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course, which she did with ease. She stayed on for a few more days to get some deep diving in and practice what she had learned during the course.

Mark Chilton completed his Megalodon Advanced Mixed Gas course with some great dives at the Little Canyon in Dahab and a spectacular dive at Jackfish Alley where we had an Oceanic Whitetip down at 75m with us for 2 minutes. I must admit i only saw it at the last second and thought it was a Grey Reef, but Mark with his contact lenses AND prescription mask insists it was an Oceanic:!:

John Nortcliffe was out for a three week break to dive on the Pelagian. With so much time available he also undertook his mixed gas course on the unit.

We also had Thomas Becker out for ten days diving his SCR and taking loads of pictures, most of which he makes into 3D. Simon Booth and Julie Perry were also out for a week of mixed gas diving where they managed to get in Thomas Canyon and Eel Garden Canyon, much to their delight.

Wea also managed to spend 2 days up in Dahab filming the Little Canyon. This is one of the best dives to do in dahab, so armed with the CCR’s, scooters and the video camera we set off to try our hand at action movies. The result you will see in the next few days here!
