Jedermanns Liebling / Everyones Darling

Jedermanns Liebling – ja, die Rede ist eindeutig von der Schildkröte.

Vor allem unsere Tauchanfänger sind absolut angetan, wenn sie eine sehen.

Wir haben das absolute Glück das an unserem Hausriff so gut wie immer eine anzutreffen ist. Meisten sogar mehrere.

Auf den Malediven haben wir 2 verschiedene Arten von Schildkröten. Die Karett- und die vom Aussterben bedrohte Suppenschildkröte. 

Wir legen sehr großen Wert darauf dass keiner unsere Gäste die Schildkröten berührt und dass für sie der Weg an die Oberfläche frei gehalten wird. Schließlich müssen sie immer mal wieder zum Luft holen nach Oben!

Roby hat auf jeden Fall einen neuen Freund gefunden und Julie bekam einen Kuss von Crush! 😀

Everybody’s Darling – yes sure, i’m talking about the turtles.

Especially our dive beginners are absolutely fascinated when they see a turtle.

We are so lucky to have quite a few of them on our beautiful house reef and often get to dive with them.

There are two kinds of turtles on the Maldives – the hawksbill turtle and the endangered green turtle.

We care a lot about our turtles and always make sure that nobody is touching them and that the way to the surface is free for them. As you might know – they have to come up every couple of hours to take some breaths.

Roby definitely felt in love again and Julie got a kiss from Crush! 😀
