Restaurant reconstruction update / Renovierungsarbeiten update

Wieder einmal moechten wir euch ein “Update” ueber die Wartungsarbeiten des Daches geben. Mit etwas Verspaetung beginnen sie nun das Dach mit getrockneten Palmenblaettern zu decken. Wir rechnen damit, dass das Restaurant ab Mitte November fertig sein sollte. Bis dahin geniessen wir unser Essen noch in der Bar 🙂 . Gaeste erzaehlten uns jedoch, dass sie es nicht weiter stoert, im Gegenteil es gefaellt ihnen 😀 !

Once again, we would like to give you a progress report on the reconstruction of the roof of the restaurant on Bathala. Despite delays caused by some days of bad weather, workers have begun laying down the outer covering consitsting of palm leaves. For the moment, the management on Bathala is estimating that the work should be completed by mid-November. In the meantime, guests continue to ejoy their meal times in the “temporary” restaurant located in the bar area 🙂 . Feedback from guests regarding this temporary arrangement continues to be positive, in fact , some are even saying that they actually prefer the new location to the old one 😀 !
