einfach unglaublich / just unbelievable
Unsere Wiederholergäste Lars und Birgit waren im Dezember 2009 wieder einmal auf Medhufushi und haben einige Tauchgänge mit uns gemacht. Natürlich stand auch der Tauchplatz “Mantas and More” auf ihrem Wunschzettel…..nach ein paar Tagen war es dann auch so weit und wir fuhren mit dem Boot zu dem heißbegehrten Tauchplatz.
Der Tauchgang war wie immer sehr fischreich und Großfisch gab es auch. Es war auch eine schöne Strömung an diesem Tag…..also war wieder einmal Riffklettern angesagt. Doch leider ging dabei der Ehering verloren.
Nach ca. einem Monat….es war wieder eine starke Strömung bei “Mantas and More” und Ingrid kletterte mit Gästen über das Riff. Unglaublich aber wahr….Ingrid hat den Ring zwischen den Korallen entdeckt:D
Selbstverständlich haben wir sofort ein email an die Beiden geschrieben und die tolle Nachricht verkündet…..Lars und Birgit waren echt happy und konnten es gar nicht glauben, dass man einen Ring an einem Außenriff und noch dazu an einem Kanaltauchplatz finden kann.
Uns ist wirklich nichts zu kompliziert!!! 😉
In December 2009, repeater guests Lars & Birgit visited us once again in Medhufushi, during which time they did several dives. The dive site “Mantas & More” was naturally on their wish list….so a few days later, as requested, we planned a trip to this top site.
As always there were fish galore, not to mention all the big “stuff”. There was also quite a strong current on this particular day so therefore the technique for holding on & climbing the reef were included in the dive site briefing. Unfortunately, later during the dive, Lars lost his wedding ring while climbing the reef. :'(
The story doesn’t end there…. Approximately one month later & yet again strong current conditions at “Mantas & More”, Ingrid was climbing the reef with her accompanied divers….when she spotted Lars’ wedding ring hidden amongst some coral!:p Incredible or what?!
Obviously we immediately contacted Lars & Birgit to give them the good news. They were naturally ecstatic to hear the news, barely believing that something so small could possibly be found on an outer reef dive site where strong currents & extreme depths are found.
Tania, one of our other repeater guests kindly offered to take the ring back with her to Germany where she handed it over to a happy Lars & Birgit. Thank you Tania for playing a part in giving this story a happy ending.:D
