Tal der Rochen / Valley of the Rays
Zum ersten mal in diesem Jahr machten wir einen Ganztagesausflug zu den Tauchplatzen Valley of the Ray und Aquarium im Südes des Atolls. Mit der auslaufenden Strömung zu dieser Jahreszeit hofften wir Mantas zu sehen. Wir hatten Glück!!! Sechs Mantas umkreisten einen Korallenblock für den gesamten sechzig Minuten Tauchgang!!! Wir entschieden Valley of the Ray ein zweites Mal zu tauchen, die Mantas waren noch immer da, zwar nicht für den gesamten Tauchgang aber es war trotzdem sehr schön. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Tag auf dem Meer und unterwasser mit den Mantas.
For the first time this season we had a day trip to the south of the atoll to our dive sites Valley of the Ray and Aquarium. With the outgoing current this time of the year we hope to see manta rays. We got very lucky!!! Six mantas going around one coral block the entire sixty minute dive!!! The second dive we decided to dive again in Valley of the Ray. The mantas were still there, not for the entire dive but still very nice. An amazing day out on the ocean and underwater with the manta rays.
