Makro Diving at Siddhartha
Blog Siddhartha – 28.02.2019
Recently we had some enthusiastic macro-divers in our hotel. Together with the guides, they also found a few special features:
- The Shaun the Sheep Nudibranch (Costasiella kuroshimae) is only 3mm big, and very well camouflaged on the green leaves. Thanks to Leo for this great picture!
- The Wonderpus octopus (Wunderpus photogenicus) looks very similar to the mimic octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus), but it lacks the white margin on the underside of its tentacles. He is just as rare to find.
- The Frogfish (Antennariidae) is a bit more common, but it is always exciting to watch.
