7 Tage Tour – Filitheyo – Filitheyo

Also during this Sheena tour we got to see a lot. With mostly outgoing current, we saw a lot of schooling fish, grey and white tip reef sharks, occasionally silver tip reef sharks, manta rays and jacks, eagle rays, bumphead parrot fish and a lot of small stuff.

One of the highlights on this tour was the dive at Fotteyo. Here we jumped into the blue very early for the Early Morning Dive and were rewarded with a hammerhead shark. Getting up early was definitely worth it.

Also the night dive at the Alimatha house reef is a must on our southern tours. We have already written a lot about it – nevertheless it is always an absolute highlight and must not be missed. Hundreds of nurse sharks, hunting mackerels and stingrays wherever you look.

We dived the channels with incoming and outgoing currents, could always observe a lot of life at the corners and crossed some of the channels to watch the hunters in the middle of the channel and the patrolling grey and white tip reef sharks. Eagle rays, Napoleons and many shoal fish were constant accompanists here.
