We start this special tour from the north of the Maldives in the Haa Dhalu Atoll. Combined with the new places around Hondaafushi we invite you to follow the original Werner Lau paths from the 80s around Eriyadu. From the north we return to Male on this 12-day tour.

This safari should not only not only appeal to hardcore Maldives divers, but also has a high expedition character. We take you with us when it comes to finding, exploring and evaluating new places.

Diving with Nitrox is highly recommended due to the dive profiles during the safari. A Nitrox course can easily be completed on MY Sheena if you do not have a Nitrox certification.

Attention: Don’t take too long with the booking, because the tour is limited to a maximum of 14 participants.

For the domestic flight from Male to Hanimaadhoo an additional 200,- Euro per person will be charged.

Start of our tour is Hondaafushi. Here we have already found some great dive sites, but there are still many explorer dives possibilities.

On the way from Haa Dhalu Atoll to North Male Atoll we will dive around Dholiyadhoo and Kuda-Funafaru and explore the Ihavandhippolhu Atoll. Especially the north of the Maldives offers many channels and tilas that have not yet been dived and therefore has expedition character. Together with the participants we will explore and work out new places.

The next fixed points will be the Hanifaru Bay of the and Giraveru Canal.

Hanifaru Bay is THE manta and whale shark site in Baa Atoll and protected as a UNESCO National Park. Diving and snorkeling is only possible with special permission.

Arrived in the north of the Male Atoll, legendary places such as Finger Point and Lucky Hell are on the program.

We continue along the channels down to the Mantapoint of Lankanfinolhu. We finish our tour at Male Airport.

Besides diving, the Maldivian culture should not be neglected either. We are planning a visit to Utheemu with our guests. Here is the temple Utheemu Ganduvaru Palace. Utheemu is the monument to the greatest hero of the Maldivian nation: Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaan. Other local islands can be included in the plan.

Of course there will be a barbecue on an uninhabited island and on the last day a visit to Male is possible. Male is the smallest capital in the world.
