Yes, our divers were quiet surprised, when they saw a huge sponge with a pair of eyes and a mouth looking right at them. It takes a lot of luck to uncover such a big, black frogfish. This corral-like fish hides among the reef and waits for prey to swim past its mouth. Lucky for us, it doesn’t feel like moving a lot and so we know exactly where to look out for this frogfish in our next dives.
