The water of the swimming pool water is purified by environmentally friendly salt electrolysis, according to international standards. This process also has health benefits: with a salt content of less than 0.4% (sea water = 3.6%) irritation of the eyes as well as skin dryness is avoided; it promotes firmness of the skin & combats skin disease.
Additionally, there are also useful items for everyday use, such as postcards, sweets much more, all available in the shop.
Traditional Balinese dance performances can be regularly seen at the open area near the Infinity swimming pool.
Learning to cook the exotic way during your holidays under palm trees
Exotic dishes have been part of the European cuisine for quite some time – but where do you learn best to prepare them with all tricks and finesse? Of course, where they come from. You don´t only learn Balinese cookery in the lofty kitchen of the Tantris Restaurant at Siddhartha Ocean Front Resort & Spa, but also everything worth knowing about the local spices and other ingredients. This is exactly the right atmosphere to prepare special dishes like Nasi Goreng, Kari Ikan or Urab Bunics yourself with the professional instructions of a Balinese cook.
The courses take place for 2 to 4 participants, individual date arrangement with the chef . At 6.30 a.m. you will go shopping together with Siddhartha´s chef at the local market. At 12.00 p.m. you will start cooking in the restaurant with his instructions. Starter, main course and dessert are on the schedule – all of them typical Balinese dishes. Of course, you will enjoy your own culinary creations after cooking them.
